Manchester United have reportedly discussed the possibility of signing Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the ongoing transfer window.
The 27-year-old has entered the final year of his contract at Goodison Park and has indicated he will not be extending his deal.
He has scored 68 goals and provided 18 assists in 247 appearances across all competitions for the Toffees so far, but the club may look to sell him this summer.
According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Calvert-Lewin is one of a number of forwards that have been discussed by the Red Devils.
But it is reportedly not a priority position and Manchester United are not expected to add another centre-forward unless they offload more players.
Erik ten Hag’s side have already signed Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna but he may need time to adapt to the Premier League.
Rasmus Hojlund is their current number one centre-forward but the Dane has been ruled out until late September due to a hamstring injury.

Bringing another attacker before the transfer window closes depends on whether or not they manage to sell players.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is on the verge of joining West Ham United, and they are also open to offers for Scott McTominay, Casemiro, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Victor Lindelof.
But players like Casemiro and Antony are on very high wages and so the club are unlikely to find buyers for them.
McTominay could still end up leaving Old Trafford despite the important role he played last season.
But Sancho is now expected to stay in Manchester as Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on French wonderkid Desire Doue.
