Dele Alli injury claim emerges as Everton reach transfer agreement

Everton are making a sensible decision to allow Dele Alli to use their facilities for his injury rehab and start paying him once he’s first-team ready, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that this limits the risk for the club and also allows the English attacking midfielder to continue his recovery from the same place he has over the past several months.

This comes after the club and the 28-year-old have agreed a deal in principle to sign him when he returns to full fitness [Sky Sports’ Alan Myers, 5 October].

Speaking exclusively to Goodison NewsBrar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Alli: “It certainly makes sense for both parties to allow Alli to recover from his injury while the club are not paying him.

“Alli can continue with his rehabilitation and recovery while it limits the risk for Everton as well.

“It’s hard to tell about Dyche’s or the staff’s confidence level about him being first-team ready in the future.

“But from a risk and reward perspective, it certainly appears to be a good deal for the club.”

Dele Alli could serve as a new signing at Everton

There’s a good chance that Sean Dyche and the staff will have gauged the situation over his fitness and been impressed by what he could possibly bring to the team once he recovers.

With this plan in place, there likely will have been an agreement over his wages that would be affordable to the club.

Hopefully, there are no more setbacks and Alli can return to the first team before the end of the year.
