CALVERT-LEWIN contract ‘demands’ to remain at everton revealed as ‘mega-money’ will have to submit a “huge” contract offer to convince Dominic Calvert-Lewin to sign a new deal at the club, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed the 27-year-old is in a “strong position” to determine his next move.
The striker is out of contract at Goodison Park at the end of this season, and he is coming into the final six months of his deal.
The England international will be able to talk to foreign clubs from January if he doesn’t agree on a new deal, and he could sign a pre-contract agreement.
Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that talks are ongoing between the club and Calvert-Lewin, with the club’s main focus being on retaining their best players.
However, because of Calvert-Lewin’s strong position, it will take a big offer from the Merseyside giants to convince him to stay beyond this season.

An offer is available should the striker wish to remain at Goodison Park long-term, but the decision is in his hands.
Calvert-Lewin has been under contract at Everton since 2016 and has gone on to score 70 goals in 254 appearances.
