Moise Kean makes very honest Everton admission that may not go down too well

Everton have endured their struggles so far this season and a lot of those issues have come going forward.

Sean Dyche’s spot in the dugout at Goodison Park could well be coming under question ahead of the turn of the year.

The Toffees are currently sat in 16th spot of the Premier League table and sitting just three points off the drop zone.

One of Everton’s strikers are already set for the exit with Beto being offered to Torino ahead of January’s transfer window.

Dyche’s side are currently the third-lowest scorers in the Premier League with just 10 goals scored in their opening 11 games.

And there is one former Everton striker who has came out with a very honest admission, which is unlikely to go down well at Goodison Park.

Moise Kean only left Everton last summer as he made the move to Juventus before joining Fiorentina this year.

Speaking to The Athletic, Kean has now shared his amazement at not being able to make much of an impact in the Everton side.

“Out of all the experiences I’ve had, you won’t ever hear me say I had a bad one,” Kean said.

“I find positives in all of them. If I hadn’t spent that year at Everton, I wouldn’t have learned the things I did there. I was a bit unlucky. I went there expecting to play a bit more. I was 19. I joined from Juve and thought I was going to smash it. Unfortunately, it didn’t go like that. We went through three coaches that year and mentally… it was all new for me. I was in England, it was a new environment…”

“But England made me learn a lot about myself. I matured a lot. When I got there I didn’t play much. I used to think, ‘How am I not getting into this team, at Everton?’ Mentally, it made me evolve. I wasn’t playing and it was in dark times that I knew I had to grit my teeth and train even more.”

Kean is now outscoring Dominic Calvert-Lewin which highlights the struggles Everton are currently enduring in front of goal.

After years of loan deals away from Goodison Park, it looks as if Kean has found his feet over in Italy with an impressive return so far at Fiorentina.

Three of Kean’s goals actually came in one game against Hellas Verona just on the weekend, but he struggled to do that on Merseyside.

Kean was only able to provide a return of four goals and two assists during his 39 appearances for the club.
