The Friedkin Group aren’t even in power at Everton yet and they’re already set to make some big demands ahead of the prospective takeover.

Everton fans won’t be getting ahead of themselves just yet having experienced heartbreak on the takeover front before, but things are looking promising.

The Friedkin Group are confident about the situation of the takeover having passed the FA and FCA tests.

However, it won’t be smooth sailing. Everton still faces some PSR issues, which the takeover will certainly help, but there’s still a risk.

January looks like it’ll be a month of consolidation, with moves only being made if necessary and potentially some outgoings.

And it appears as if the prospective owners already have their eyes on some big changes behind the scenes on Merseyside, with a ruthless approach set to be adopted.

The Friedkin Group have decided to hire Claudio Ranieri as the new Roma manager after months of criticism following the exit of Daniel De Rossi.

And now there are some big demands set to be made behind the scenes at Everton that will cause a bit of a stir for those involved at the club.

Kevin Thelwell and Sean Dyche are set to be the subject of a view with Everton hovering just about the relegation zone and the former out of contract soon.

In addition, Alan Nixon has claimed that the Friedkin Group will shock multiple staff members at Everton by telling them they need to re-apply for their jobs.

Sean Dyche’s future has already been called into question by the Friedkin Group, as there were claims that David Moyes is being eyed as a temporary replacement.

Thelwell is out of contract in the summer, and Fabio Paratici is being eyed by Dan Friedkin, which could point towards a likely exit.

We already know that Dyche will be a goner come the summer if it doesn’t happen before, with the new stadium on the horizon, but depending on the review’s findings, it could be sooner.

Jim Ratcliffe adopted a similar policy of making some of the staff re-apply for their jobs at Manchester United, so it’s not the first time this could happen.
