Everton need a change of direction and a change of manager
The Friedkin Group’s decision to bring in personnel familiar with their operational philosophy is a strategic move for the Toffees
Introducing staff who already understand the group’s business model and expectations ensures a smoother transition, aligning the club’s operations with the new ownership’s vision more effectively.
This approach minimises the risk of cultural or strategic misalignments that can occur with new ownership.
Regarding Dyche’s future, the fact that the club are in 15th place raises serious questions about the direction under his management.
Initiating discussions with potential new managers early on allows for a seamless handover, ensuring that the new managerial appointment can hit the ground running.
This proactive strategy could prevent any drop in performance or morale that might follow from a delayed managerial change, especially if the new ownership have different ambitions or a different playing style in mind.
In other Everton news, a Toffees man has been savaged and called “abysmal” and “pathetic” after what happened recently.
