New signing poised to start as Aston Villa face another reshuffle, here are the things you need to know

The centre-back is set to go straight into the starting line-up for the first match he has been available since completing a late deadline day loan move from Chelsea.

Disasi was unable to play in last weekend’s FA Cup win over Tottenham due to having already played in the competition, while he will also be ineligible to face his parent club when they visit in the Premier League on Saturday week.

But the home match with Ipswich and next Wednesday’s visit of leaders Liverpool will see the France international utilised, with Ezri Konsa the latest member of Unai Emery’s defence to go down with injury.

Emery had already been operating without Pau Torres, Matty Cash and Tyrone Mings after all three were forced out of matches with injury.

Mings, who hurt his knee in last month’s 1-1 draw with West Ham, is closest to making a return with Torres expected back next month from a broken foot sustained in December.

Midfielder Boubacar Kamara will continue to be utilised as an emergency defender where needed as Emery waits for those on the sidelines to recover.
