Friedkins ready new Everton cash injection with transfers lined up

Everton could be ready to explode in the summer with the Friedkin Group ready to invest heavily.

It has been a tough number of years for the Toffees, who have suffered points deductions and come too close to relegation on numerous occasions.

However, David Moyes has seemingly saved the Blues’ season and with 13 points separating them from the Premier League relegation zone, things are on the up.

The Friedkin Group already have plans in place to make disappointment a thing of the past.

Friedkin Group set for Everton transfer boost

Due to PSR and mismanagement in the past, the Toffees have had to be very measured in their transfer business in recent years which has left little room for progression.

Kevin Thelwell has made no secret about the fact that the future will have to be measured for the Toffees if they want to see long-term sustainable success in Merseyside but there is light at the end of the tunnel it appears.

Moyes has turned Everton’s fortunes around since returning to Goodison and although supporters won’t want to think too far ahead, the future is certainly looking bright if the manager can continue this run.

However, if there is truly going to be progression in Merseyside, the new owners will need to provide financial backing to Moyes and the recruitment team to grow the squad.

The Daily Mail has reported (19 February) that TFG are looking to invest in the squad after the conclusion of the current campaign with a considerable turnover of players expected.

There are several players out of contract but some player sales may need to be sanctioned to keep within the dreaded PSR guidelines with these changes.

Everton looking towards a brighter future

Although the Toffees have made plenty of progress under the guidance of Moyes, there is only so far they can go without further investment in the squad and increasing options.

After the nightmare of PSR in the past, supporters will no doubt be understanding of any caution with a slow but steady growth predicted as they make the move to Bramley Moore Dock.

Although Moyes has only overseen the signing of one player, Carlos Alcaraz, since his return, his improved management of the squad and emergence of a clear plan will surely make the owners feel as though they can invest in him.

The key for the Toffees right now is to secure their safety as a Premier League side and look towards their future at Bramley Moor Dock.

There is no need to get carried away at this stage but having the ability to move in the transfer window will certainly reassure supporters that the bad times are behind them.
