Erling Haaland has taken a fresh swipe at Myles Lewis-Skelly amid an ongoing rift.

Erling Haaland continued his beef with Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly over the weekend. The Manchester City striker has an ongoing rift with the Gunners defender having had a spat with him during the September meeting between Arsenal and City.

Haaland said during a melee: “Who the f*** are you?” and that was caught on camera. Myles-Skelly fired back at Haaland by doing the striker’s famed yoga pose after scoring against City in the second meeting between the two clubs.

On Saturday, Arsenal suffered a potentially fatal title race blow, losing at home to West Ham, and Lewis-Skelly was sent off in the second half after coming on as a substitute. The defender hauled down Mohamed Kudus after the striker won the ball from him, and it was a foul he had to make due to the fact David Raya was around 40 yards off his line, giving Kudus a free shot on goal.

After the game, two West Ham fans decided to mock Lewis-Skelly by doing the yoga pose on the floor outside the Emirates Stadium and posting the picture on Instagram. Haaland then liked the picture, perhaps adding fuel to the fire between the two players.

Arsenal are now 11 points behind Liverpool with a game in-hand, and their title race may be over after Arne Slot’s men defeated a Haaland-less City side on Sunday. The Gunners have just 36 points available to them at this stage, and making up that many points seems very unlikely, especially given Liverpool’s superb form.

Things aren’t much better for City, who are battling for a Champions League spot having fallen out of the title race some time ago. City are just goal difference ahead of Newcastle United and only two points ahead of Aston Villa in eighth. Although, it looks likely fifth place will also be enough for a Champions League spot in the Premier League this season.
