Everton boss David Moyes is said to be targeting moves to sign West Ham United duo in the summer transfer window.
David Moyes left West Ham at the end of last season, but had to wait until January 2025 before getting another job when Everton brought him back to Goodison Park.
Interestingly, Moyes was in the stands at The Etihad during Julen Lopetegui’s last game as West Ham manager – the same stadium he managed his last game for the Hammers.
There was talk that the Scot could be in line for a sensational third spell at the London Stadium.

That didn’t materialise in the end though, with Graham Potter coming in to replace Lopetegui instead.
During Lopetegui’s failed Hammers stint, Moyes took a cheeky dig at the Spaniard by suggesting that he was surprised at how easy we had become to play against.
He was right in a way, despite the fact we were equally as easy to turn over during the final five months of the 2023/24 season under his stewardship.
Things have improved greatly since Potter took charge of West Ham and in fairness to Moyes, he has taken Everton to another level over the past seven weeks as well.
He is now planning a double raid on the Hammers in order to make even further progress with the Toffees next season.
David Moyes wants Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal reunion
Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal were brought to West Ham by Moyes way back in 2020.
And, according to Claret and Hugh, the Scot wants to sign both players for Everton in the summer.
Both Soucek and Coufal are Hammers through and through. Vlad actually went to watch West Ham against Leicester in with the home fans whilst he was out injured with a hamstring problem!
Whilst Coufal hasn’t been a regular feature in the Hammers starting XI this season, Soucek has once again been crucial for us, although many of his performances go under the radar.
The two Czech mates have been pivotal during our transformation as a club over the past five years.
Whilst I’d be happy for one of them to join the Toffees, I really don’t think we should be letting both leave.
Soucek has proven to be a key player under Potter’s tutelage, and he has clearly improved on his weaknesses since the 49-year-old took charge of the Hammers.
The 30-year-old midfielder’s passing has improved beyond all recognition, and his energy and stamina in the middle of the park has proven to be crucial to Potter’s system at West Ham.
Meanwhile, Coufal’s time at the London Stadium seems to be coming to an end. The 32-year-old will be out of contract at West Ham in just a few month’s time.
I feel like he has regressed as a player over the past 12 months.
So if David Moyes really wants to bring both Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal to Everton from West Ham, we should only be letting the latter join them.
