Chris Sutton, the former footballer turned pundit, has made some bold predictions about Aston Villa’s upcoming fixtures against Brentford, Club Brugge, and Preston North End.

First up, Sutton predicts that Aston Villa will come away with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Brentford in the Premier League. Sutton believes that Villa’s attacking prowess, led by the likes of Ollie Watkins and Philippe Coutinho, will prove too much for Brentford’s defense.

However, Sutton also acknowledges that Brentford is a tough opponent, and that Villa will need to be at the top of their game to secure the three points. “Brentford is a well-organized team that can cause problems for anyone,” Sutton said. “But I think Villa’s quality will shine through in the end.”

Next, Sutton predicts that Aston Villa will secure a comfortable 3-0 win against Club Brugge in the Europa Conference League. Sutton believes that Villa’s European experience will give them an edge over the Belgian side, and that they will be able to dominate possession and create plenty of scoring opportunities.

Sutton also thinks that Villa’s defense will be able to keep Club Brugge’s attack at bay, securing a clean sheet and a morale-boosting win. “Villa has a strong squad and they should be able to get the job done against Club Brugge,” Sutton said.

Finally, Sutton predicts that Aston Villa will come away with a narrow 1-0 win against Preston North End in the League Cup. Sutton believes that Villa’s superior quality will ultimately tell, but that Preston will make them work hard for the win.

Sutton thinks that Villa’s manager, Unai Emery, will make some changes to the team for the League Cup tie, but that they will still have enough firepower to secure the win. “Preston is a tricky opponent, but I think Villa’s class will shine through in the end,” Sutton said.

Overall, Sutton is predicting a successful run of results for Aston Villa, with three wins on the bounce. While there are no guarantees in football, Sutton’s predictions are based on a careful analysis of the teams’ strengths and weaknesses, and Villa fans will be hoping that he is correct.
