Everton backed to agree ‘massive Tammy Abraham deal’ – ‘people may laugh…’

Everton have successfully managed to navigate the murky waters of a relegation battle under David Moyes, and now the focus has immediately started to shift to next season and how the squad will look.
Moyes will have his first transfer window since making his sensational return to Goodison Park and he will be looking to put his own fingerprints on the squad to have even more of an influence over the team and how they play.
Football Insider revealed that signing wingers is a “priority” for the Merseyside giants this summer, with Moyes wanting to add more width to his side.
Everton are set to enter a “major battle” to try and sign Marseille star Luis Henrique, while they also have their eyes on West Brom’s Tom Fellows.
However, Moyes might also have to look at bringing in a new striker in the summer as Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s contract is set to expire at the end of this season.
The injury-stricken star has struggled for form throughout this campaign which could stop Everton from offering him a new deal and would leave Moyes short at the top end of the pitch.

Tammy Abraham could switch Italy for Merseyside
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson has revealed he believes that Tammy Abraham would be a “good fit” for Everton next season.
“There will be a lot of English Premier League clubs looking at him,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“He’s heavily linked to the move to Leeds if they’re to get in the Premier League.
“Leeds United are obviously looking for a number nine, I’m surprised they didn’t go in the market in January and get one, but actually going into the end of the season it’s looking like they’re going to have enough with what they’ve got.
“He’s out of contract, he’s on a free, there’s going to be no shortage of takers.
“He’d be a good fit at Everton and the way that David Moyes plays with that number nine, the out-and-out striker.

“The thing that Everton have got next season, obviously it’s looking like they’re going to have a strong finish to this season, David Moyes at the helm going into the new stadium as well, which is going to be a massive pull for new players next year.
“The opportunity to play in that new stadium week in and week out.
“So yeah, Everton potentially not a relegation-threatened team next year with a massive brand new all-singing, all-dancing stadium. People may laugh, but that will attract some players to the club.”

Everton will face competition in trying to sign Tammy Abraham
Everton are not the only club interested in signing the former Chelsea striker as Leeds are also monitoring his situation as Daniel Farke wants to bring in players to help with their potential step up to the Premier League.
Industry insider Mick Brown exclusively revealed to Football Insider that the Whites intend to be “all over” a deal to sign Abraham.
Abraham is believed to be keen on a return to the Premier League as he’s not featuring in Roma’s long-term plans, although he is under contract until 2027.
