The international break hasn’t been too harsh on the Toffees manager in terms of team selection, but Vitaliy Mykolenko suffered a ‘serious injury’ spelling trouble for Everton.

Liverpool gaining three points next week could prove to be the final piece they need for Premier League glory.

Moyes will be hoping to hand Arne Slot’s side a real blow, but what the Premier League have decided may affect his chances.

It seems as though the Premier League will struggle to get back into Everton fans’ good books.

With the game being midweek, Everton fans already branded the fixture changes ‘ridiculous’ as the league have only gone and made matters worse.

As Liverpool is a mid-week fixture, you’d expect a decent amount of time between Everton’s game after against Arsenal.

Well, the fixture vs Mikel Arteta’s side comes at 12:30 pm on the following Saturday, and it seems like Everton wanted a change.

According to MailOnline, Everton and Liverpool saw the positives in switching the televised Anfield clash from Wednesday, April 2 to Tuesday, April 1.

Bringing the derby forward would have given Everton and Moyes the chance to have more time to prepare for the clash with Arsenal.

Liverpool obliged to this as they hope their rivals can pull off a shock win against the Gunners.

However, the Premier League rejected the request, which will no doubt leave Everton fuming with the decision.

Premier League bosses were unmoved with the prospect, given the original date did not cause either club to play another match within 60 hours, which is the minimum period required.

Now it seems as though Everton’s relationship with the league won’t be improving anytime soon.

The Premier League continue to frustrate Everton

It’s another decision that won’t sit well as despite Everton’s status in the league looking secured next season, it’s not ideal for Moyes who has an extremely difficult run-in.

Of course, the league hasn’t taken this into account and the fact Everton could still suffer more fitness concerns during the international break makes this worse.

Fans still haven’t recovered from the Toffees’ points deduction saga with the league, as even Sky Sports have frustrated Everton.

This certainly won’t be the last thing to get under Evertonians’ skin, with clear frustration through how the league have handled Man City’s case compared to Everton’s.

It continues to leave the club in bafflement and this decision could’ve easily been resolved, but once again, the Premier League cause problems for Everton.
