MANCITY HAVE SET AN ASKING PRICE FOR JACK GREALISH AHEAD OF POTENTIAL RETURN TO VILLA PARK

Manchester City have reportedly set an asking price of £50 million for midfielder Jack Grealish, amid speculation of a potential return to his former club Aston Villa.

Grealish, who joined Manchester City in a £100 million deal in 2021, has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under manager Pep Guardiola. Despite his impressive performances for England, Grealish has found himself in and out of the City starting lineup.

Aston Villa, who have maintained a strong interest in re-signing their former star, may be tempted by the reduced asking price. Grealish’s return to Villa Park would undoubtedly be a major coup for the club, and would likely be met with widespread enthusiasm from the Villa faithful.

However, it remains to be seen whether Villa will be willing to meet City’s £50 million valuation. The Midlands club may attempt to negotiate a lower fee, or explore alternative transfer targets.

Grealish’s future at Manchester City has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks. While Guardiola has publicly praised the midfielder’s abilities, Grealish’s lack of playing time has fueled rumors of a potential departure.

A return to Aston Villa would likely provide Grealish with the regular first-team football he craves. The 27-year-old has previously spoken fondly of his time at Villa, and may see a return to the club as an attractive option.

As the transfer window enters its final stages, Villa fans will be watching developments closely. Could Jack Grealish be set for a dramatic return to Villa Park? Only time will tell.
