Paul Gascoigne reveals shock Marcus Rashford info he’s ‘heard’ as Man Utd winger tipped for stunning transfer

Gazza has made a bold prediction for Marcus Rashford’s next club.

England legend Paul Gascoigne has revealed that Marcus Rashford could be set for a sensational move this summer when he returns from his Aston Villa loan.

Rashford made the switch to Villa Park in January after he was forced out of Old Trafford by new United boss Ruben Amorim, who had extradited the winger from the squad following the Manchester derby.

Since making the move to Villa, Rashford has started both legs of their Champions League clash with Club Brugge and earned a recall to the England squad under new manager Thomas Tuchel.

Although Villa are reported to have a £40m buy option for Rashford included in their loan deal, Gascoigne has claimed the winger will make a far more glamorous move this summer.

Speaking in a recent interview with Poker Scout, Gascoigne said: “He’s playing well there.

“I heard he might be going to Real Madrid. He’ll have had more moves than a chess player!” He added.

Madrid would seem a rather bizarre destination for the 27-year-old given their immense squad depth, but who am I to question what the great Gazza has heard?

The former Newcastle, Spurs, and Everton man also praised the United loanee’s attitude despite the complaints of Amorim.

“His attitude is just wanting to play football, and he seems like he’s playing with a smile on his face, but he seems to be all right at Aston Villa.

“Aston Villa is a magnificent club and maybe he’s just got to be happy playing.

“Football’s his life and change of scenery and different fans, but he seems to be doing all right. I like him as a player.”

Following his exit from Old Trafford, Rashford wrote on Instagram:: “I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen.

“I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision – I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season, and the manager’s ambitions. I just want to play football and am excited to get started.

“I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season,” he concluded.
