Crystal palace vs Fulham final injury news as 4 ruled out and 2 doubts

All the latest injury news surrounding Crystal Palace and Fulham as they prepare to face off in the FA Cup.

Crystal Palace and Fulham face off in an FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday at Craven Cottage, with a Wembley spot on the line. Both sides will be pleased with their Premier League efforts so far this season, and they can couple their league efforts with cup exploits, with both clubs in with a chance of going all the way given the number of big boys who have been knocked out already.

Aside from the internationals, both Fulham and Palace should be well-rested given this side comes after the break, but there are still injuries on both sides. Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams.

Jean-Philippe Mateta – Fit

Glasner has said: “He trains now for two weeks with us. Of course, always with his protection, and it’s also important for him to train a little bit. We had an internal game during the international break and he could play for 60 minutes without any problems, so he’s ready. I watched JP this week in training and he was the same as before. There was no fracture or concussion. He has put his head into challenges over the last two weeks. If I believed there was a problem, I wouldn’t play him.”

Doucoure is also out with a long-term knee injury, and it’s hoped he will return for the summer. Glasner said at the time: “After further assessments, Cheicky needs surgery on his knee, so we have lost [him] for the rest of the season. We hope [he] will return for pre-season.”

Kenny Tete – Doubt

Tete could have an outside chance of returning, but it is more likely he will be back in April. Silva said before the break: “Kenny step-by-step is being integrated a little bit more. Not 100 per cent with the team, but around in some drills.”
