€40m plus add-ons, player due to travel to England in the next 24h for medical.
Marinakis wanted a top signing to replace Elanga, Ndoye said yes to #NFFC. Now done.
Nottingham Forest have reportedly secured a major summer signing, with Switzerland international Dan Ndoye poised to join the Premier League club from Bologna. According to highly reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement has been reached between the clubs for a fee of €40 million plus add-ons.
Ndoye, a versatile winger who impressed with nine goals and six assists in 41 official matches for Bologna last season, including a Coppa Italia Final victory, is now expected to fly to England for his medical tests within the next 24 hours.
Forest’s pursuit of Ndoye has been intense, fending off competition from Napoli, who reportedly backed away from a bidding war due to Bologna’s valuation. Ndoye himself is said to have prioritized a move to the Premier League, and had already agreed personal terms with Forest over a week ago. This signing represents a significant statement of intent from Nottingham Forest, as owner Evangelos Marinakis reportedly pushed hard to secure a top-tier replacement for Anthony Elanga.
