There is currently fresh speculation linking Jack Grealish to Everton – and it seems a move is not out of the question.

Grealish has been linked with Everton for a lot of the summer, with the Manchester City star highly likely to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.

But given his huge wages, the likelihood is that he’ll depart on a loan basis, with City paying a big chunk of his salary.

Everton are supposedly now ready to make their pitch to Grealish and City, but are currently waiting for Etihad officials to outline the conditions of a potential deal.

The 29-year-old will surely be very keen to leave given the World Cup takes place next year.

So his next choice of club is very important, and Everton hope it will be them – and what David Moyes is planning to do to sell the project might just get a deal over the line.

The Independent published an intriguing report on Everton’s interest in Grealish last night.

The former Aston Villa man currently has interest from several clubs, and needs to choose carefully given that World Cup next year.

Obviously, it is crucial that Grealish – who has recently been training alone – plays every single week.

And seemingly Moyes is ready to grant him that level of game time, with the Independent reporting that the Scot is ready to actually build his Everton team around Grealish, who also has interest from West Ham United.

Moyes will also look to offer Grealish more freedom than what he currently gets when he plays for City.

Previously, some have accused Guardiola of stifling Grealish, who was known for being a free spirit at Villa.

For City, a common criticism of Grealish, and also Guardiola, has been that the winger constantly cuts back on the left and passes back, and rarely gets at his man.

Everton feel their location could be key in Grealish pursuit

So part of the sell with joining Everton for Grealish is that he could be a main man, and play with freedom again.

But the Independent also report that Everton feel their location could give them an edge against transfer rivals.

It is stated Everton feel they have a chance to get Grealish over Napoli ‘due to the player’s anticipated willingness to stay in the north’.

Grealish is said to be keen for stability, and the Toffees could hand him the chance to stay in Cheshire and avoid uprooting his family.
