West ham makes U-turn on goal keeper target after almost agreeing deal

Late U-turn

West Ham are making a fresh push to sign Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, talkSPORT understands.

Terms are already in place with the Foxes’ shotstopper.

This comes despite the Hammers already virtually agreeing a deal to bring in Botafogo’s John Victor.

Graham Potter looked set to add the Brazilian to his ranks at the London Stadium, but now that could well change.

The club’s coaching staff prefer Hermansen to Victor.

West Ham are going back in for the Dane after appearing to move on from him as a target over the last week or so.

They are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after the depature of veteran Lukasz Fabianski.
