The 2025/26 Premier League season looks set to be a fascinating one. The usual contenders, such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea, will be fighting for the title, while a number of big teams will also be chasing European spots.
At the other end of the division, the newly promoted clubs will be hoping to avoid relegation, as will the likes of Wolves, Brentford and West Ham, who have enjoyed their status as top-flight clubs for a number of years now.
While it’s too early to know how things will shake up for sure, that’s never been enough to stop football fans from having strong opinions. With that in mind, supporters have now predicted the entire 2025/26 Premier League table from 1st to 20th. Working with the people at Live Football Tickets, 2000 fans have given their complete rankings. The average position has then been calculated and ranked to give a final predicted table.
Premier League Table: 20-16
While all three teams promoted from the Championship went down last season, it’s nice to see there is a little more optimism that things could change this time around. Sadly for Burnley and Sunderland, though, the average fan still believes they’ll immediately drop out of the Premier League.
Leeds United, however, appear to be the favourite of the three to avoid the drop. Not just that, they do some with some breathing space too, finishing as high as 16th here, above Brentford. It’s been a slow start to the season for Wolves, and it feels as though they could be destined for the drop this term. Reflecting that, they’re tipped for an 18th-placed finish.

The early signs are that Bournemouth may well prove a lot of doubters wrong. They lost some key players in the summer, such as centre-back pairing Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi, but Andoni Iraola’s men continue to impress, and will aim to finish much higher than 15th.
After a poor start to the campaign under Graham Potter, West Ham fans would probably bite your hand off to finish 14th. Everton supporters would also be relatively content with a mid-table finish, although some would hope for more. Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion fans would likely be a little disappointed not to break into the top half of the table.

Premier League Table: 10-6
Crystal Palace have been brilliant under Oliver Glanser, securing Europa Conference League football after winning the FA Cup. Their fans would likely be happy with a 10th-place finish, as they juggle league duties with European action midweek. The same can be said of Nottingham Forest (who controversially stole the Eagles’ spot in the Europa League), although owner Evangelos Marinakis might not be quite so satisfied.
Aston Villa haven’t looked great in the early stages of 2025/26, but if Unai Emery can guide them to eighth, it won’t be a total disaster. They, too, have European football to contend with. Both Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur will aspire to retain their spot in the Champions League, but that looks to be quite a tough ask, so they may each end up disappointed come May.

Premier League Table: 5-1
The biggest shock, perhaps in the entire table, comes here with Manchester United tipped to finish fifth. It’s been a mixed start to the new season under Ruben Amorim, and few would currently back the Red Devils to finish so high. Anything can happen in football, but this does seem a little fanciful.
Chelsea will have title-chasing aspirations, but to at least seal more Champions League football will feel like a continued step in the right direction for a club that has been very up and down in recent seasons. Arsenal fans will be frustrated to finish third, with many hoping this is finally their year. That said, if they aren’t to win the whole thing, perhaps it’s better to come third, as opposed to feeling the pain of a fourth consecutive second-place finish.
Manchester City were well off the pace last term, but are expected to come a little closer this time around, as they move up one spot to second. Even so, it’s not enough to regain their crown, which was stolen by Liverpool in 2024/25. Indeed, Arne Slot’s men – armed with summer signings Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, and Alexander Isak – appear to be the favourites. Only time will tell if that’s the right call, but it feels sensible at this moment in time.
