Juventus have held talks over the possible appointment of Andoni Iraola through intermediaries, sources have told TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey.
Comolli is using his contacts to assess options throughout Europe, and he is fully aware of the work being done by Iraola.
The Italian giants’ chances of landing the 43-year-old are also boosted by the fact that he is out of contract at the end of the season.
Although at this stage, Juventus haven’t received much encouragement that he would leave mid-season, especially given the impressive work he is doing at the Vitality Stadium.
Right now, the Cherries are sitting second in the Premier League, having lost just one of their first nine matches.
Speaking about the Spaniard’s situation, Bailey told TBR Football: “There really is not a young manager in Europe with a higher reputation than Iraola.
“I am told in this instance, Juve have had talks via intermediaries with people close to him to really find out his current thinking.
“They don’t really believe he would leave mid-season, be it for Juventus or any club, but they wanted to check him out basically and make it clear they like him.
“Andoni Iraola is going to be one of the big stories in 2026. Bournemouth just hope that the report is about him signing a new deal!”
Four Bournemouth players Andoni Iraola has transformed into superstars
-Dean Huijsen
-illia Zarbanyi
-Antonie Semeno
-Milos kerkez
Not only has the Spanish coach transformed Bournemouth into a great team, but he’s also made some of their players absolute superstars.
Dean Huijsen, who joined Real Madrid, has to be one of his best projects on the South Coast, having made him one of the strongest defenders in Europe.
Illia Zabarnyi and Milos Kerkez also earned moves to Champions League clubs and are recognised as two of the top players in their position on the continent.
Meanwhile, Antoine Semenyo is in high demand, and it’s hard to argue against him being considered as one of the Premier League’s best attackers.
