Jurrien Timber was brought off at half-time against Preston to save him for this match. Expect him to start against Newcastle at left-back.

Declan Rice quietly had one of his best games of the season against Liverpool. He’ll want to keep that form up at Newcastle after a night off a Preston
Central midfield – Mikel Merino
Mikel Merino was very good once again at Preston after grabbing his first goal against Liverpool. He’ll be extra motivated to star against his old club.
Right wing – Bukayo Saka
No player has created more chances than Bukayo Saka in the Premier League this season. After more minutes in his legs against Preston, expect him to keep that up.
