Dele Alli is training at Everton after contract expired
Dele Alli update shared by Alan Myers amid behind-the-scenes Everton development
Dele Alli is doing well in training at Everton and is close to returning to action for the Under-21s, according to Alan Myers.
The Sky Sports news editor claims that he’s heard that things are going well behind the scenes for the 28-year-old attacking midfielder.
Alli is still not contracted with Toffees but has been using their facilities for rehab and is expected to sign a deal once he makes his first-team return.
Myers wrote on X: “I believe he’s all good and is closer to having some game time (U21’s) etc only what I’ve heard.”
Dele Alli could return to the Everton first team soon

This will ensure that there is no financial strain on the club for a player who’s ineligible to play and if Sean Dyche or whoever makes the decision, wants him in the first team, he will be signed.
On his day, Alli can terrify the best of defences but over the past few seasons, things have not gone to plan for him.
Since his flying start at MK Dons and Tottenham Hotspur, the Englishman has struggled with his fitness and form.
He’s still not “past it” but there will still be a lot of rustiness he’d want to get out of his system and for that he will need to prove his fitness with the Under-21s.
Hopefully, things go as per plan and he returns to the fold for the Toffees and becomes a key first-team player.
