Aston Villa forward Marcus Rashford has made a surprising plea for manager Unai Emery to sign £50m-rated Chelsea star Noni Madueke.
Rashford, who has been a key player for Villa this season, believes that Madueke would be a fantastic addition to the team and has urged Emery to make a move for the 20-year-old winger.
“Noni is a top player, and I think he would be a great fit for Villa,” Rashford said in a recent interview. “I’ve had the chance to play against him a few times, and I’ve been impressed by his quality. He’s got pace, skill, and vision… he’s a top player.”
Madueke, who has been impressing for Chelsea this season, has been valued at around £50m. Despite his high price tag, Rashford believes that the young winger would be worth every penny.
“I think Noni would be a fantastic addition to our squad,” Rashford added. “He’s a top player, and I think he would help us to push for a European spot.”
Emery, who has been working to strengthen his squad since taking over at Villa Park, will undoubtedly be considering Rashford’s plea. With Madueke’s impressive form for Chelsea, it remains to be seen whether Villa will be able to lure him away from Stamford Bridge.
One thing is certain, however: Marcus Rashford is a big fan of Noni Madueke, and he believes that the young winger would be a fantastic addition to the Villa squad.
