The latest batch of Everton training photographs from Finch Farm show striker Armando Broja back in full training
Initially, new manager David Moyes admitted he was looking into the possibility of sending the Albania international back to Stamford Bridge to free up a potential domestic loan space given that the Blues had filled their two-man quota having also brought in Jack Harrison from Leeds United, but given that the issue wasn’t as serious as originally feared, there are now hopes that the 23-year-old could feature again this season. The Blues boss was asked about Broja in his pre-match press conference ahead of the 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers and said: “He’s training, he’s joined in a little bit. He’s not fully right yet.
“I would say after the international break would probably be the right time. There’s an outside chance that maybe he could be fit for next week.
“At the moment, I can only follow the medical team. If I was guessing, I would probably say it looks more like after the international break.”
Prior to their trip to Molineux last Saturday, Everton had been enjoying a warm weather training camp in temperatures of around 23 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi. However, with the UK currently being hit by icy blasts of chilly Arctic air, many of the squad – including Moyes – were wearing gloves and even hats for their session at the club’s Halewood training base.
