Alexander Isak’s Agent (Vlado Lemic) Finally Make his Feelings Clear After Isak Transfer to Liverpool

The football transfer window is rarely short of drama, and this summer has brought yet another headline-making story involving Newcastle United’s star striker, Alexander Isak. The Swedish international, who has been one of the Premier League’s most exciting forwards, has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool. Adding further fuel to the speculation, his agent, Vlado Lemic, has now spoken directly to talkSPORT about the player’s situation.

Lemic, known as one of Europe’s most influential agents, confirmed that discussions between Newcastle and Liverpool have taken place, though he stopped short of revealing whether a final agreement has been reached. In his remarks, he highlighted Liverpool’s long-standing admiration for the 24-year-old striker, stating that the Reds see Isak as a natural successor to their current frontline and a long-term option to lead the attack at Anfield.

“Alexander is very happy at Newcastle,” Lemic told talkSPORT. “He has enjoyed his time there and respects the club deeply. But when a club like Liverpool shows strong interest, it is always something to consider seriously. Liverpool’s history, ambition, and the opportunity to work under Jurgen Klopp are things every top player would find attractive.”

The agent also stressed that while Liverpool’s offer is significant, Newcastle still holds the cards. Isak remains under a long-term contract at St James’ Park, and the Magpies are reluctant to part ways with their prized asset unless an exceptional bid arrives. Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has previously spoken about Isak’s importance to the squad, making it clear that he sees him as central to the team’s future ambitions.

For Liverpool, the pursuit of Isak signals their intent to strengthen their attack as they look to reclaim domestic and European glory. With Mohamed Salah’s future still uncertain and Roberto Firmino having departed, the club is eager to secure a reliable and dynamic goalscorer.
