According to TBR Football can also confirm that Everton and Leeds are aware of the situation involving Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, with sources adding that two other English clubs are looking.
Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent for TBR Football – has been informed that Brentford and Burnley are also on alert after the Southampton academy graduate became a free agent.
Oxlade-Chamberlain (who was called “incredible” by Trent Alexander-Arnold) also has admirers in the Championship as he weighs up his next step.
Oxlade-Chamberlain scored 20 goals and provided 24 assists in his 235 Premier League appearances across spells at Arsenal and Liverpool, winning the title with the latter in 2020.
Players to have appeared for both Liverpool and Everton
If David Moyes does end up bringing Oxlade-Chamberlain to Everton, the midfielder would join an exclusive 26-man club of players to have appeared for both the Toffees and Liverpool.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium has already proven to be something of a rehabilitative place this season, with Jack Grealish shining for Everton after escaping Manchester City on a loan move.
The England international already has four assists in just three Premier League appearances for the Toffees, so perhaps Oxlade-Chamberlain could enjoy a similar resurgence if a move to Everton happens.
On Another News….
A new update has been provided on Jordan Pickford’s Everton contract, and the fans have had a lot to say about it.
Jordan Pickford is currently away from Merseyside on international duty with England, but has been ever-present in the Everton side once again this season, playing every minute of their opening three Premier League games.
The Toffees have made a positive start to the new campaign with two wins out of three, and Pickford has already picked up one clean sheet.
Everton brought in the likes of Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this summer as David Moyes looks to revamp the team, but that doesn’t mean he wants to change every player.
